A Musical Journey
Day of Awakening (DoA) is the creation of talented multi-instrumentalist Brian Buckalew. Based in the Florida panhandle, DoA's name is drawn from a spiritual experience Brian had where he was visited by the presence of God during one of the lowest points of his life. This event caused Brian to have a spiritual awakening and he has never looked back.
Brian takes his bass and piano-driven musical arrangements and fleshes them out with both orchestral and synthesized elements to create a very unique sound. Explore the site and learn more about the musician behind the music.
